Some films have that special something, and some films seem like they stepped in something. Allow me to help you know the difference, and maybe find you something good to watch.
And that’s all I’m going to tell you about it.
Because, sadly, this is a film that spoils easily. Still worth the watch either way, but still… Don’t let any one spoil this film for you. In fact, if you’re planning on seeing it eventually, I would suggest you run right out and see it now. Because people are going to talk. They’ll be talking about what they’ve seen, or heard about, and just like that: you overhear too much. People talk, things happen, stuff gets spoiled.
Oh, I will note that the screenplay is based on an amazing short-story that was written by sci-fi legend Robert Heinlein way back in 1958. It’s called “-All You Zombies!-” (it’s not about zombies), and you can find it, but just don’t read it before you see the film. Obviously.
So you can see from the poster that Ethan Hawke is in it.
And that’s it. That’s all you need to know:
Time travel, Ethan Hawke, puzzle-box.
